• Set your thermostat as low as is comfortable
• replace furnace filters every month
• During fall and winter months, keep blinds open on south facing windows.
• During summer months keep blinds closed on south facing windows
• Wrap water heaters in an insulating blanket to retain heat.
• Make sure your water heater is set to 120°F
• Replace incandecent bulbs with compact fluorescent bulbs
• Place electronic devices that require and AC adapter on a power stip that can be shut off.
• Turn off your computer/monitor when not in use.
